Welcome to Hotel Medes II. In 2010, we celebrated 50 years in the tourism business. We would like to thank all our clients and invite you to enjoy our service and facilities.
In addition to the regular services featured in the pictograms, for FAMILIES we offer rooms with a capacity of up to four beds, connected rooms, a children's swimming pool, a children's play area (with games, storybooks and paints), children's menus and facilities for preparing pap and special diets, high chairs and bibs.
For SPORTSPEOPLE we have storerooms and garages for bicycles and diving equipment. We also adapt schedules to suit activities and make reservations for diving, golf, sailing and bicycle touring, etc.
ENJOY YOURSELF at any age in our exceptional surroundings: the Medes Islands, the River Ter and the Empordà region, Cadaqués, and Girona are complemented with our restaurant's broad range of cuisine and a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere.

They also come with a fully equipped bathroom, hairdryer, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, desk and free Wi-Fi. Some are family rooms (up to 4 occupants).

Restaurant
The Medes II restaurant, run by chef Marc Calvo and his team, serves modern Mediterranean cuisine based on local products and the traditional dishes of the Empordà region. We offer a daily midday and evening set menu, an à la carte menu, seasonal menus, dishes adapted to different diets and a catering service.
For celebratory meals such as banquets, communions, weddings, baptisms or company lunches/dinners, ask for a no-obligation estimate.

Every day of the week, including holidays and weekends, we serve a set lunchtime and dinnertime menu that features a choice of three starters, three main course dishes and three desserts. Dishes may be chosen from our à la carte menu upon payment of a small supplement.

We are authorised by the Ministry of Health of the Government of Catalonia to provide catering services that range from a nursery school lunch (with all the diets and specific requirements involved) to a banquet or company dinner and involve the transport of food or additional decoration and service.

Our surroundings are exceptional. From L'Estartit, in the centre of the Costa Brava and the Empordà region, you can enjoy nature (the Medes Islands, the Empordà Plain, and the River Ter), culture and the broad range of museums and music on offer in the zone. There are water sports such as diving, sailing, kayaking and snorkelling; air sports, which include ballooning or microlight flights; and sports on the ground like hiking or cycling.
The coastal town of L'Estartit is in the municipality of Torroella de Montgrí, in the Baix Empordà region. The Medes Islands, the Montgrí Massif and the River Ter are its main attractions. Like other spots on the Costa Brava L'Estartit boasts a combination of cliffs, coves and a long fine white sandy beach.

How to get there
By train: the nearest stations are in Girona and Flaçà. You can take a taxi or an AMPSA company bus from either.
If arriving at Barcelona airport, take a train to Girona or Flaçà and then a taxi or an AMPSA company bus. If arriving at Girona airport, either take a taxi or go to Girona city bus station and take a bus to L'Estartit.
If arriving by car on the AP-7 motorway, take exits 5, 6 or 7. If arriving on the N-II main road, follow the indications to Torroella de Montgrí.
